Unduk Ngadau is the Heart of Harvest Festival

Unduk Ngadau is one of the sought after event in Sabah. It is a beauty pageant held during the Kaamatan festival which known as Pesta Kaamatan in Malay, Harvest Festival in English and in Kadazandusun we call it Tadau Tagazo do Kaamatan.

It is held once a year in every district in Sabah and the winner of the district will be representing state level .The winner of the state level will be the queen of the year where she will become the ambassador for Sabah . It is her duty to promote Sabah and involve in any campaign or activity held by KDCA organization or known as (Kadazandusun Cultural Association).

This is a very special event as the beauty pageant itself is a very unique blend of legendary tales yet timeless. The title comes from the ethnic word Runduk Tadau which means the girl crowned by the sunlight. In Rungus Language, Runduk means to communicate, and Tadau means the sun, therefore Unduk Ngadau translates to communicate with Sunsu (Kinohiringan) or God asking for blessing of sunlight.

WHO ARE THE ZIONIST?

Based from what I've seen a lot of people here in Malaysia are so against the Jews and Israel but when speaking of Israel and Jews do you really know whats going on? Do you know who are the Jews and Zionist?

Let me put the record straight, the religious affiliation of the Israeli population as of 2011 was 75.4% Jewish, 16.9% Muslim, 2.1% Christian, and 1.7% Druze, with the remaining 4.0% not classified by religion. Jews is a religion strongly interrelated to Judaism.

On the other hand, Zionism is a political views. Zionism is not the Jews, but the founder of Zionism was a Jew. Zionism today is no longer the exclusive property of the Jews. The existence of Zionism are majority of those who supported by individuals and groups who are not Jewish.

Please bear in mind that many Jews were against Zionism itself. In Israel there is a adherents of Judaism which have strongly opposed the notion of Zionism. They reject the notion of Zionism's entry into Palestine. For this group, they believe that the beliefs or ideology of Zionism has brought chaos and suffering of the Jewish people throughout the world and also the infinite misery to the Palestinians.

Zionism is not the Jews. Zionism is a philosophy that uses religion as a cloak to deceive the followers of Judaism but it is not the Jews beliefs or philosophy, it is a political views.

Many Jewish intellectuals who are superior in knowledge and understanding of the philosophy also opposed Zionism. Noam Chomsky is one of them. The profile Jewish intellectuals are the most outspoken voice against the violence of Israel.

Albert Einstein the scientist who discovered the theory of e = mc2 was another anti-Zionism Jewish. In Israel, many Jews-Israeli oppose the creed

The are too many Malaysians that consider the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as a religious conflict. This view is wrong. Conflict in Palestine is not a religious conflict. This conflict is about the Palestinian land ownership. They arise because of Palestinian land have been confiscated by the adherents of the notion of Zionism to establish what is now called Israel.

The violence that exists in Palestine is the result of the racist philosophy of Zionism.

I was a bit disappointed to see the Malays are angry when the mosque demolished in Jenin but the Malays are not angry when Orang Asli churches demolished in Gua Musang. Malay people demonstrating for Palestinian land confiscated but they did not speak up when the lands of the Penans confiscated. They did not speak up when customary land in Sarawak, one by one confiscated by the international capitalists
 ( Hishamuddin Rais, 2009).

Where is your common sense understanding? When the Palestinian people are being abused and persecuted you are demonstrating against it but why when the Penans here in Malaysia itself were abused your are not driven to help? Some of us do not understand that evil is not ethnic and not religion.

Do you really understand about tyranny and justice? Or are you just become rubber stamps. So don't just talked without  look into our own conscience.

The Truth Behind Malaysia's Independence Day

Does Malaysia have an Independence Day? Or maybe just a national day..

Have you ever wonder what’s the truth behind all of the things that you have learned about Malaysian history, especially the issue regarding Malaysian Independence Day which was claimed to fall on 31st August 1957?

Of course everyone knew about the thing called Malaysian Independence Day here in our country. However, when speaking of Malaysia’s Independence Day or better known as ‘Hari Merdeka’  it’s a sad thing to know the fact that what has been stated is not historical truth.

So, where is the value of truthfulness in this case? How do you judge the value of truthfulness regarding our Independence Day? Do you think that the people deserve to be told the truth of in the formation of Malaysia?
